Cassini-Huygens Simulator

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be on board a NASA space probe? Then check out NASA's new web feature, "CASSIE". This interactive 3-D viewer shows what it would be like to hitch a ride on NASA's Cassini-Huygens Saturn exploration probe.

Users of the 3-D interface can choose between several camera views, and zoom the space probe back into the past or into the future, to show where it's been and where it's going. Another feature shows right where Cassini is right now. The "Saturn's Moons" section allows users to explore the moons of Saturn, just as Cassini-Huygens did. Zoom in to see detailed terrain features, or zoom out and view both Saturn and its moons. You can try it out here!

Clear skies!
