If you're looking for the meteor over Canada on Nov 20, 2008, click here.
I was out at a Labor Day BBQ last night and as I sat by the fire, I watched sky. To my surprise, I saw 4 meteors in the course of about 10 minutes. One of these was very bright white, and left a visible trail. This is odd because none of the meteor showers are even close to peak right now. It is possible that these were stragglers from the Perseid meteor shower, since it is such a broad meteor shower.
Did anyone else see some meteors last night? Leave a comment below if you did!

yes!! I was with other people, but they thought I was crazy. I saw two bright ones about one minute apart. Beautiful. Location: Santa Clarita, CA at approx. 9 p.m.
I'd say that's about the time I saw mine. We had just got the fire going and sat down around it when I saw the real bright white one!
