For those of you using Twitter, Visual Astronomy now has its own feed. I'll be using this as a kind of a status update function for the blog and to pass on little tidbits of info here and there. Twitter also offers SMS and other messaging options, so you can use a phone or other mobile device as a feed reader of sorts.
The feed is located at http://twitter.com/VisualAstronomy
Standard RSS and E-Mail feeds will continue as before.
From the Twitter website:
Twitter is a unique approach to communication and networking based on the simple concept of status. What are you doing? What are your friends doing—right now? With Twitter, you may answer this question over SMS, IM, or the Web and the responses are shared between contacts.
