Had a nice stretch of weather here in the Mid-Atlantic area and spent some good quality time at the scope. I saw a few really nice meteors the last couple of nights, but all of them were big, slow, and long burners coming out of the West, not Orion. Two were really BIG and Green - Beautiful!!!
So no on the Orionids, but Yes for nice meteors!!! =-)
Southern California--was disappointed on Oct 21 but this morning, 4:30am 10/23 we saw about 10. Hope the Leonids next month will be better.
